Foundations of Team Teaching (Co-Teaching) Quick Look       Preview

This course helps prepare the veteran teacher to become a mentor by sharing the basic concepts and models that make mentoring a successful strategy for new teacher induction. These basic concepts can be adapted for use by reading coaches and mentors for struggling teachers. (12 credit hours)

The Path to Successful Online Facilitation Quick Look       Preview

Gain an understanding of the online environment, barriers to learning, and ways to ensure a successful experience for participants. Gain the skills necessary to deliver effective professional development. While much of the content is applicable to all online course facilitation, this course also contains components specific to Beacon’s Online Courses. (10 credit hours)

Apply knowledge of research-based instructional practices for developing students' reading proficiency by creating an instructional plan. This course provides guidelines and direction for completion of all observations and documentations for the supervised practicum. Note: This course does not fulfill the 60-hour practicum requirement for Florida's Reading Endorsement. (12 credit hours)
