Kathleen Jones

Quality Assurance Analyst

Kathleen has served as a Quality Assurance Analyst for Beacon Educator since 2022. Prior to this position, Kathleen was a Lead Program Analyst for Beacon Educator for 7 years and a mathematics teacher for 16 years. She also taught Project Lead the Way pre-engineer for 6 years. Kathleen has a B.S. in Upper Elementary Education from George Mason University and M.S. in Mathematics Education from Florida State University. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Mathematics, the 2011 Florida recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, and recognized as a 2013 Notable Nole for Florida State University. Kathleen is certified in 5-12 mathematics and holds a gifted endorsement.
