ESOL 4: Cultural Diversity
Gain awareness of various cultures to promote intercultural communication and enhance instruction and learning for diverse populations. ESOL 8: Supervised Practicum
Review aspects of the various areas for ESOL coursework as determined by the Consent Decree and in compliance with Florida Performance Standards for Teachers of English for Speakers of Other Languages in preparation for implementing the supervised practicum. Then, apply knowledge of ESOL appropriate instructional practices, while creating and implementing instructional plans. This course provides guidelines and direction for completion of the supervised practicum. See course prerequisites.
