Description

Review legal and ethical issues involving stereotyping, racism, prejudice, and discrimination. Explore and apply methods for improving cross-cultural communication and enhance cultural diversity in the workplace.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand and apply knowledge about cultural values and beliefs by recognizing the differences in the depth of cultural identity.
  • Understand and apply knowledge about cultural differences to prevent problems in the workplace.
  • Understand and apply concepts and knowledge related to the interrelationship between culture and language for others who come from diverse backgrounds.
  • Understand the barriers to cross-cultural collaboration and apply methods for assessing and improving communication patterns.

Documentation Methods

Participants must document their learning by completing the following summative.

1 Multiple Choice Exam - Learner demonstrates knowledge of content by selecting the correct answer from the choices provided.

The summative must meet 80% of the established criteria.
