Description
Learn to maintain academic focus in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Develop knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques to facilitate student engagement and achievement.

- How to provide effective directions for instructional activities and routines. (Pre-Professional Accomplished Practice 9.13, 10.9)
- When and how to use instructional strategies with students. (Pre-Professional Accomplished Practice 2.7, 4.3, 7.5, 8.1, 10.5, 10.10)
- That students need assistance and feedback while practicing a skill. (Pre-Professional Accomplished Practice 2.9,2 9.9)

Documentation Methods
Participants must document their learning by completing the following summatives.
1 Multiple Choice Quiz - Learner demonstrates knowledge of content by selecting
the correct answer from the choices provided.
2 Reflections - Learner synthesizes previous knowledge and course content in
order to develop a narrative response.
The summatives must meet 80% of the established criteria.
