Description

Explore the concept and importance of building school-home relationships through effective communications among parents, teachers, and school administration. Examine ways that educators can communicate with parents about important educational matters to build trust and belonging within a school.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify parent involvement initiatives that result in effective home and school partnerships.
  • Identify various ways in which parents can realize that teachers and schools are providing a quality education for their children, thereby solidifying relationships between school and home.

  • Identify the socio-economic component of the community connection regarding building school and home relationships.

1 Multiple Choice Exam - Learner demonstrates knowledge of content by selecting the correct answer from the choices provided.

The summative must meet 80% of the established criteria.
