Description
Acquire an understanding of an inclusive workplace. Learn about laws that protect classes of workers. Understand the actions that employers and employees can undertake to effect inclusive workplaces.

- Identify ways to communicate professionally by phone, email, text, and face-to-face conversation.
- Identify effective ways to deal with personal conflict in the workplace.
- Recognize characteristics of harassment.
- Identify federal and state laws concerning harassment.
- Recognize methods of preventing harassment.
Documentation Methods
Participants must document their learning by completing the following summatives.
1 Multiple Choice Exam - Learner demonstrates knowledge of content by selecting
the correct answer from the choices provided.
1 Reflection - Learner synthesizes previous knowledge and course content in
order to develop a narrative response.
The summatives must meet 80% of the established criteria.
