Marissa Agrell

Local Facilitator (Okaloosa County Schools)

Marissa is an Instructional Literacy Coach in Okaloosa County, Florida. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K - 6) from Northwest Florida State College and has endorsements in reading and ESOL. Prior to becoming an instructional coach, she was a 5th grade ELA teacher in the same district. She has also taught 3rd grade and has prior experience with curriculum and instruction in early childhood education. Marissa has received a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction w/a focus in Educational Technology Leadership from the Louisiana State University system. She also has two years experience in teaching the English language, with a foundation in phonics, to students in China through VIPKid.

Marissa facilitates Beacon courses for Okaloosa County Schools.
