Sharla is a veteran middle and high school math and reading teacher. Certification in mathematics and biological science with reading, ESOL, and gifted endorsements led her through 24 years of varied teaching experience. In 2000, she became a full-time resource teacher with Beacon. Since her retirement, Sharla continues to work part-time as an Online Learning Specialist with Beacon Educator.
