Prior to retirement, Christy Clanton taught kindergarten, multi-age K-1st, fourth, and fifth grades for over three decades. The 2003 Bay District Teacher of the Year and a lifelong learner, she has earned ESOL, Reading, and Gifted endorsements as well as National Board Teacher Certification.
