Karen Osborn

Local Facilitator (Okaloosa County Schools)

Karen Osborn is currently employed at Kenwood Elementary School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida as a 2nd grade teacher. She worked previously as the school’s Media Specialist and was the coordinator and instructor for the school’s Gifted and Talented Enrichment (GATE) program. She also serves as Kenwood’s professional development coordinator and webmaster. She works part-time for College Board administering the ACT and SAT exams at Fort Walton Beach High School, and with Bricks4Kidz, teaching a STEM after-school program and numerous summer camps. She is certified in elementary education, Media (PreK - 12), as well as being endorsed in ESOL, reading, and gifted.

Karen facilitates Beacon courses for Okaloosa County School District.
