Joyce retired as the Director of Staff and Program Development for the Nassau County School District. Her other experience includes 9 years in staff development with a consortium of school districts, 2 years of university adjunct teaching, and 7 years of classroom experience. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and completed 70 hours of doctoral work in Educational Leadership.
