Amanda has worked in education for over 14 years, first as an elementary teacher and then as a literacy coach. Her passion for reading instruction led her to obtain her master's degree in Reading and English as a Second Language from Dallas Baptist University. She currently holds certification in early childhood education, ESOL, and reading.
