Barbara Eubanks

Executive Director

As a founding member of Beacon Educator, Barbara has served in various leadership positions with the organization since it began 25 years ago. Her focus during most of that time has been on leading Beacon's content development and working closely with the technology team. She is a past president and current board member of the state professional learning organization (Learning Forward Florida/FASD). Prior to Beacon, she taught students in multiple grade levels and held both school and district leadership positions. She also taught math, science, and technology at Florida State University as part of the Elementary Education Faculty. Barbara holds a BA in Social Science, an MA in Agriculture Education & Leadership, and a PhD in Curriculum & Instruction. Her certifications include English, Math, Science, Social Science, and School Principal.
