DeAnna Miller

Online Curriculum Developer

DeAnna is currently an Online Curriculum Developer for Beacon Educator. She previously served as an assistant principal at a K-6 school in Alabama, a middle school English and Social Studies teacher, and an instructional coach. She is an Army veteran and has been in education over 15 years. DeAnna has her own blog space on MiddleWeb, an online education magazine. She was Teacher of the Year in 2010-2011 and Assistant Principal of the Year in 2021-2022. She is certified in Educational Leadership as well as a Generalist in Grades 5-8 in Florida and in Educational Leader in Alabama. DeAnna has a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies Grades 5-9, a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and in Educational Leadership, an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, and is currently working on an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
